Surah Zilzal With English Translation & Transliteration.

Sûrah Zilzâl – 99 (Revealed at Madinah).
الزلزلة,
Al-Zilzal, or The Convulsion.
| *** |
Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem.
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
| *** |
1.Izaa zulzilatil-ardu zilzaa lahaa.
إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا
1. When the Earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion.
| *** |
2. Wa akhrajatil-ardu asqaa lahaa.
وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا
2. And the Earth throws up her burdens (from within).
| *** |
3. Wa qaalal-insaanu maa lahaa.
وَقَالَ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَا
3. And man cries (distressed); What is the matter with her?

4. Yawma’izin tuhaddisu akhbaarahaa.
يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا
4. On that Day will she declare her tidings:

5. Bi-anna Rabbaka awhaa lahaa.
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا
5. For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration.

6. Yawma’iziñy-yaşdurun naasu ashtaatal-liyuraw a’maa lahum.
يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ
6. On that Day will men proceed in groups sorted out, to be shown the Deeds that they (had done).

7. Famañy-ya mal misqaala zarratin khayrany-yarah.
فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ
7. Then shall anyone who has done an atom’s weight of good, see it!
| *** |
8. Wa mañy-ya ‘mal misqaala zarratin sharrañy-yarah.
وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ
8. And anyone who has done an atom’s weight of evil, shall see it.
