Surah Humazah With English Translation And Transliteration.

Sûrah al-Humazah-104 (Revealed at Makkah).
سورة الـهمزة
Al-Humaza, or the Scandal-monger.
| *** |
Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
| *** |
1. Waylul-likulli humazatil lumazah.
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ
(VERSE NO1). Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and backbiter,
| *** |
2. Allazee jama’a maalañw . wa ‘addadah.
الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ
(VERSE NO2). Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by,
| *** |
3. Yahsabu anna maalahooo akhladah.
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ
(VERSE NO3). Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever!
| *** |
4. Kallaa la-yumbazanna fil-hutamah.
كَلَّا لَيُنبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ
(VERSE NO4). By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into that which Breaks to Pieces.
| *** |
5. Wa maaa adraaka mal hutamah.
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ
(VERSE NO5). And what will explain to thee that which Breaks to Pieces ?

6. Naarul-laahil-mooqadah.
نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ
(VERSE NO6).(It is) the Fire of Allah kindled (to a blaze),

7. Allatee taṭṭali‘u ‘alal af’idah.
الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ
(VERSE NO7). The which doth mount (right) to the Hearts:

8. Innahaa ‘alayhim mu’şadah.
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ
(VERSE NO8). It shall be made into a vault over them,
| *** |
9. Fee ‘amadim-mumad dadah.
فِي عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍ
(VERSE NO9). In columns outstretched.
