Sûrah at Tîn-95 (Revealed at Makkah)
سورة الـتين
At-Tin, or The Fig
| *** |
Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
| *** |
1.Watteeni wazzaytoon.
وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ
1. By the Fig and the Olive,
| *** |
2.Wa Toori Seeneen.
وَطُورِ سِينِينَ
2. And the Mount of Sinai,
| *** |
3.Wa haazal-baladil-ameen.
وَهَذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ
3. And this City of Security,
| *** |
4. Laqad khalaqnal-insaana feee ahsani taqweem.
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ
4. We have indeed created man in the best of moulds,
| *** |
5. Summa radadnaahu as fala saafileen.
ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ
5. Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,
| *** |
6. Illal-lazeena aamanoo wa ‘amiluş-şaalihaati falahum ajrun ghayru mamnoon.
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ
6. Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: for they shall have a reward unfailing.

7. Famaa yukazzibuka ba’du bid-Deen.
فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ
7. What then, can after this make you deny the Last Judgment?
| *** |
8. Alaysal-laahu bi-ahkamil -haakimeen.
أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ
8. Is not Allah the wisest of Judges ?
