Sûrat an-Nâs-114 (Revealed at Makkah)
سورة الناس
An-Nãs, or Mankind
| *** |
Bismillaahir Raḥmaanir Raheem
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
| *** |
1.Qul a’oozu bi-Rabbin naas.
قُلۡ اَعُوۡذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِۙ
(VERSE NO 1). Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind,
| *** |
2.Malikin-naas
مَلِكِ النَّاسِۙ
(VERSE NO 2). The King (or Ruler) of Mankind,
| *** |
3.Ilaahin-naas
اِلٰهِ النَّاسِۙ
(VERSE NO 5). The God (or Judge) of Mankind,
| *** |
4.Min sharril-waswaasil khannaas.
الۡخَـنَّاسِمِنۡ شَرِّ الۡوَسۡوَاسِ
(VERSE NO 4). From the mischief of the G Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws S (after his whisper),
| *** |
5. Allazee yuwaswisu fee şudoorin-naas.
الَّذِىۡ يُوَسۡوِسُ فِىۡ صُدُوۡرِ النَّاسِۙ
(VERSE NO 5). Who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,
| *** |
6. Minal-jinnati wannaas.
مِنَ الۡجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
(VERSE NO 6). Among Jinns and among men.
