5. Summa kallaa sa-ya’la moon ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۵ 5. Verily, verily they shall soon (come to) know!
***
6. Alam naj’alil-arda mihaadaa. اَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ الۡاَرۡضَ مِهٰدًاۙ ﴿۶ 6. Have We not made the earth as a wide Expanse.
***
7. Wal-jibaala awtaadaa. وَّالۡجِبَالَ اَوۡتَادًا(٧ 7. And the mountains as pegs?
***
8. Wa khalaqnaakum az waajaa. وَّخَلَقۡنٰكُمۡ اَزۡوَاجًاۙ ﴿۸ 8. And (have We not) created you in pairs,
***
9. Wa ja’alnaa nawmakum subaataa. وَّجَعَلۡنَا نَوۡمَكُمۡ سُبَاتًاۙ ﴿۹ 9. And made your sleep for rest.
***
10. Wa ja alnal-layla libaasaa. وَّجَعَلۡنَا الَّيۡلَ لِبَاسًاۙ ﴿۱۰ 10. And made the night as a covering,
***
11. Wa ja alnan-nahaara ma’aashaa. وَّجَعَلۡنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشًا(١١ 11. And made the day as a means of subsistence?
***
12. Wa banaynaa fawqakum sab’an shidaadaa. وَّبَنَيۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعًا شِدَادًاۙ ﴿۱۲ 12. And (have We not) built over you the seven firmaments,
***
13. Wa ja alnaa siraajanw wahhaajaa. وَّ جَعَلۡنَا سِرَاجًا وَّهَّاجًا(١٣ 13. And placed (therein) a blazing lamp.
***
14. Wa anzalnaa minal-mu’ şiraati maaa’an sajjaajaa. وَّاَنۡزَلۡنَا مِنَ الۡمُعۡصِرٰتِ مَآءً ثَجَّاجًاۙ ﴿۱۴ 14. And do We not send down from the clouds water in abundance,
***
15. Linukhrija bihee habbañwwa nabaataa. لِّـنُخۡرِجَ بِهٖ حَبًّا وَّنَبَاتًاۙ ﴿۱۵ 15. That We may produce therewith grain and vegetables,
***
16. Wajannaatin alfaafaa. وَّجَنّٰتٍ اَلۡفَافًاؕ ﴿۱۶ 16. And gardens of luxurious growth?
***
17. Inna Yawmal-Faşli kaana meeqaataa. اِنَّ يَوۡمَ الۡفَصۡلِ كَانَ مِيۡقَاتًاۙ ﴿۱۷ 17. Verily the Day of Sorting Out is a thing appointed,
***
18. Yawma yunfakhu fis Soori fataåtoona afwaajaa. يَّوۡمَ يُنۡفَخُ فِىۡ الصُّوۡرِ فَتَاۡتُوۡنَ اَفۡوَاجًاۙ ﴿۱۸ 18. The Day that the Trumpet shall be sounded, and ye shall come forth in crowds;
***
19. Wa futihatis-samaaa’u fakaanat abwaabaa. وَّفُتِحَتِ السَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ اَبۡوَابًاۙ ﴿۱۹ 19. And the heavens shall be opened as if there were doors,
***
20. Wa suyyiratil-jibaalu fakaanat saraabaa. وَّ سُيِّرَتِ الۡجِبَالُ فَكَانَتۡ سَرَابًاؕ ﴿۲۰ 20. And the mountains shall vanish,as if they were a mirage,
***
21. Inna Jahannama kaanat mirşaadaa. اِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتۡ مِرۡصَادًا (٢١ 21. Truly Hell is as a place of ambusn,
***
22. Liṭṭaagheena ma-aabaa. لِّلطّٰغِيۡنَ مَاٰبًاۙ ﴿۲۲ 22. For the transgressors a place of destination:
***
23. Laabiseena feehaaa ahqaabaa. لّٰبِثِيۡنَ فِيۡهَاۤ اَحۡقَابًاۚ ﴿۲۳ 23. They will dwell therein for ages.
25. Illaa hameemañw-wa ghassaaqaa. اِلَّا حَمِيۡمًا وَّغَسَّاقًاۙ ﴿۲۵ 25. Save a boiling fluid and a fluid,dark, murky, intensely cold,
***
26.Jazaaa’añw-wifaaqaa. جَزَآءً وِّفَاقًاؕ ﴿۲۶ 26. A fitting recompense (for them).
***
27. Innahum kaanoo laa yarjoona hisaabaa. اِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡا لَا يَرۡجُوۡنَ حِسَابًاۙ ﴿۲۷ 27. For that they used not for any account (for their deeds).
***
28. Wa kazzaboo bi-Aayaa tinaa kizzaabaa. وَّكَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَا كِذَّابًاؕ ﴿۲۸ 28. But they (impudently) treated our Signs as false
***
29. Wa kulla shay’in ahşay naahu kitaabaa. وَكُلَّ شَىۡءٍ اَحۡصَيۡنٰهُ كِتٰبًاۙ ﴿۲۹ 29. And all things have We preserved on record. to look.
***
30. Fazooqoo falan nazee dakum illaa ‘azaabaa. فَذُوۡقُوۡا فَلَنۡ نَّزِيۡدَكُمۡ اِلَّا عَذَابًا 30. “So taste ye (the fruits of your deeds);for no increase shall We grant you,except in Chastisement.
***
31. Inna lilmuttaqeena mafaazaa. اِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ مَفَازًاۙ ﴿۳۱ 31. Verily for the Righteous there will be an Achievement,
***
32.Hadaaa’iqa wa a’naabaa. حَدَآٮِٕقَ وَاَعۡنَابًاۙ ﴿۳۲ 32. Gardens enclosed, and Grape-vines;
***
33.Wakawaa’iba atraabaa. وَّكَوَاعِبَ اَتۡرَابًاۙ ﴿۳۳ 33. Maidens of Equal Age;
***
34.Wa kaåsan dihaaqaa. وَّكَاۡسًا دِهَاقًاؕ ﴿۳۴ 34. And a Cup full (to the Brim).
36. Jazaaa’am-mir-Rabbika ‘ațaaa’an hisaabaa. جَزَآءً مِّنۡ رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً حِسَابًاۙ ﴿۳۶ 36. Recompense from thy Lord, a Gift,(amply) sufficient,
***
37. Rabbis-samaawaati wal ardi wa maa baynahumar-Raḥ maani laa yamlikoona minhu khitaabaa. وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا الرَّحۡمٰنِ لَا يَمۡلِكُوۡنَ مِنۡهُ خِطَابًاۚ ﴿۳۷ 37. (From) the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between, the Most Gracious: none shall have power to argue with Him.

38. Yawma yaqoomur-Roohu wal-malaaa’ikatu saffal laa yatakallamoona illaa man azina lahur-Rahmaanu wa qaala şawaabaa. يَوۡمَ يَقُوۡمُ الرُّوۡحُ وَالۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةُ صَفًّا لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُوۡنَ اِلَّا مَنۡ اَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحۡمٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابًا (٣٨ 38. The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand forth in ranks, none shall speak except any who is permitted by The Most Gracious, and he will say what is right.
***
39. Zaalikal-Yawmul-Haqq, faman shaaa’at-takhaza ilaa Rabbihee ma-aabaa. ذٰلِكَ الۡيَوۡمُ الۡحَـقُّ ۚ فَمَنۡ شَآءَ اتَّخَذَ اِلٰى رَبِّهٖ مَاٰبًا ﴿۳۹ 39. That is the True Day: therefore, whoso will, let him take a (straight) Return to his Lord!

40. Innaaa anzarnaakum ‘azaaban qareebany-Yawma yanzurul-mar’u maa qaddamat yadaahu wa yaqoolul-kaafiru yaa laytanee kuntu turahan. اِنَّاۤ اَنۡذَرۡنٰـكُمۡ عَذَابًا قَرِيۡبًا يَّوۡمَ يَنۡظُرُ الۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدٰهُ وَيَقُوۡلُ الۡـكٰفِرُ يٰلَيۡتَنِىۡ كُنۡتُ تُرٰبًا(٤٠ 40. Verily, We have warned you of a Chastisement near, the Day when man will see (the Deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, “Woe unto me! Would that i were (mere) dust !
