Sûrat al-‘Aşr-103 (Revealed at Makkah)
سورة الـعصر
Al-‘Aşr, or Time through the Ages
| *** |
Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

1.Wal-‘Aşr.
وَالْعَصْرِ
(VERSE NO1). By the time,

2.Innal-insaana lafee khusr.
إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ
(VERSE NO2).Verily Man is in loss,

3. Illal-lazeena aamanoo wa *amiluş-şaaliḥaati wa tawaasaw bilḥaqq, wa tawaaṣaw bişṣabr.
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ
(VERSE NO3).Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join toge ther) in the mutual enjoining of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.
